Dedecik

The name of the village came from an old man who was hanged at the entrance of the village by the enemy during the War of Independence. It is 35 km away from Süleymanpaşa. There is Karansıllı Village in the east, İbribey (Beyköy) Village in the west, Generli Village in the north, and Kapakin village in the south. Peple in village earn their living from agriculture and animal husbandry. The most grown crops are wheat and sunflower. Melon and watermelon production has also increased significantly in recent years. In the village, there is no primary school. The village has both drinking water and sewage mains network. There is no post office. There is a health center. The road that provides access to the village is asphalt and there is electricity and fixed telephone in the village. The population of 2019 is 306 people.
